Yoga Studio Review in Paris: Yoga Village (English)
Today is March 18, 2022, I'm sitting in a small Parisian café in the middle of beautiful Paris. In front of me is the Madeleine building and I am thinking about the experience of this morning at the Yoga Village studio here in Paris.
The situation in Paris feels very good, it's reassuring: no masks at all. And that feels like we've gone back to normal life. If you live in Paris you should definitely visit the yoga village here and if you are only visiting Paris make sure to put a visit to the Yoga Studio at the top of your travel list. If you know me, you also know that I visit different Yoga Studios every time I travel. I do a review and if I like the studio, I write about it on my blog. Visiting the Yoga Studios everywhere is one of the favourite things I do and experiences I have! Every time I learn something new, whether it's about yoga, yoga styles, music, art or design. I often draw inspiration from this, not only in terms of yoga, but also in my personal life.
My early morning Vinyasa Yoga session at the Yoga Village today inspired me a lot. Charlotte, who led the class, is a very nice, experienced yoga teacher. She showed us some yoga positions a few times and told us what to do. She also corrected us and had a very pleasant voice. Although I don't speak French, I understood when the exhale and inhale take place, sometimes these positions were named in Sanskrit and so I understood which position to go into. :) Ahh, French is so beautiful and romantic, I wish I could speak it someday (maybe one day)! And that's why today's yoga class interested me even more than usual! By the way, I had a wide range of yoga positions today: from splits to warrior 2, handstand and headstand, I practiced all of them today. Ehm, I was sweating a bit, but it was an excellent mix of yoga poses. Shavaaasane totally relaxed me! Thanks for the nice hour. I definitely recommend Yoga Village to everyone.
It's a smaller and cozier yoga studio with experienced teachers. In the studio you will find yoga tools, changing rooms and a small reception.
I wish you a nice day and if you are in Paris, then definitely visit the Yoga Village and enjoy the time and your self-care! Remember: Self-care is one of the most important moments you can give yourself and therefore: think of yourself!
