First Tip That Will Improve Your Life
Today I hope to motivate you and give you my first tip for a better life.
Stay in the present moment!
Be in the “now” as much as you can. Live in the present, here and now because when you live in the present moment, you live exactly where the life is happening. The past and future are both illusions (Maya).

Let me give you some examples and then you can ask yourself some questions. Can you remember in detail what you were doing ten or fifteen years ago? Yes or No? Have you ever thought about why you can’t remember your life ten or fifteen years ago? Yes or No?
If you answered yes, “of course I remember everything,” then allow me to congratulate you. You live in the present moment, here and now. Well done!
If you answered no, “ I don’t remember what I was doing ten years ago," then you were probably thinking too much about the past or future. That’s wrong! You weren’t in the present moment and that’s why you don’t remember certain things. Your mind has gone blank.
How can this problem be avoided? We need to concentrate on the present moment as much as possible. How?
Make sure your breathing is full and deep. It is the best practice possible. Anything can be a way of meditation, from walking to yoga, cooking or even taking out the rubbish. Always be here in this very moment, whatever you do!

Maybe it all sounds too easy. Believe me, it’s not. I’m still working on myself to be here and now, to be in the present, so I know its fu**ing difficult. Sometimes my mind is stronger than I am. That’s why I need to trick my mind and try to focus on my breathing. That always helps me to come back to the present. If I focus on something I am doing at the present moment, my mind is satisfied and I am in the present moment. That’s the trick! For example, I love to teach yoga or meditation because when I am teaching I am in the present moment. I do only one thing and my mind is focused 100% on my teaching, or if I am dancing, I am in that present moment because I am fully concentrated on my dancing and so on…
I believe it requires daily training, great patience and a strong will! We all need to be fully focused on one thing in our present moment and then we will live a better life here and now!
